Last summer when I was on vacation a strange thing happened. Outside Spokane Washington the construction was awful. The road signs were missing or inaccurate, like most construction sites. I topped a hill doing about 70 and saw someone sitting on a crotch rocket in the median. This someone was dressed from head to toe in black. Black leather pants and shirt. Black helmet and bike. Very nice and very fancy looking. And he was waving both hands down and looking frantically back over his shoulder. I immediately slowed way down, mainly to get a good look at him. I topped the next hill and there was a police car and a speed trap. The speed limit dropped suddenly and it wasn’t well marked. I don’t know who that was on that bike, but I personally think it was an angel keeping me from getting a very expensive ticket!
