When we were building our church we ran out of money right about halfway through. We desperately needed 2 by 12 boards before we could do anything else but there was no money to buy any. I was very discouraged. I got up early before daylight and drove to the church. About five miles before I got there, I saw something laying in the road ahead. It was long and narrow. I pulled over and it was a 2 by 12 board, twenty feet long just like we needed, perfectly straight. It was like God was saying, “I have what you need.” I loaded that board in my van with about 10 feet of it sticking out and continued with a much lighter heart. He came through as always, we got the boards, and we finished the church.
