I’ve been seeing this guy, not serious, just friends. One day about a month into the relationship, I felt this really strong need several times to pray for him. The first time I woke up in the middle of the night and knew I should pray for him. The next morning I felt the same urge. I wasn’t sure why, but I did. An hour or two later he called, and I told him how I’d been feeling the need to pray for him and urged him to be careful out there. Then about an hour later I had that urge again. Within 30 minutes he called again, and from his voice I could tell he was shaken. He said he was going through an intersection at about 55 mph when a woman with several children in the car ran a stop sign. He said he just closed his eyes and swerved toward the ditch, sure he would turn the truck over. He said he knew there would be no possible way not to hit her. But when it was all over and he opened his eyes, she was on the other side of the intersection, and so was he. He didn’t know how the occupants of the car weren’t dead. Somehow their lives had been spared.

He pulled over to stop shaking. It took about 10 minutes and finally he was able to call me. I was praying for him then and during the time of the almost accident. It would seem God orchestrated my prayer to prevent a tragedy and save lives.
