When I was 19, I had a boyfriend that I dated for four years. We really loved each other, but were just too young to make it work. I moved on, married someone else and we did not stay in touch.

It was November, about three years later, and I kept having dreams where he was quite upset and crying. I finally called his sister-in-law and asked her if he was okay. She said that she hadn’t talked to him in awhile and had no idea, but she hadn’t heard anything. She told me that she would be seeing him at Christmas, in about a month, and would ask how things were going.
I talked to her again after Christmas, and she told me that he had been in a bad car accident right around the time I was having the dreams. He was hit on the driver’s side by a police car that ran a red light and was in terrible pain. He still couldn’t move his neck well and his back was hurt.
