I was sleeping in my niece’s bed, visiting in Illinois. I had a cell phone and had put it on the nightstand next to the bed. I was awakened in the middle of the night by a little chime. It was my cell phone, indicating I had a new message. I looked at my “Missed Calls”, there was nothing. I didn’t have any text messages, new voicemails…nothing. I laid back on the pillow and closed my eyes. Suddenly, I could hear a clicking noise close to my right ear. Click..click..clickclickclick..click..clickclick… Over and over I heard it for several minutes. Finally I sat up and looked around to see if I could figure out if there was something in the room making the noise.

As soon as I sat up, the noise stopped.

Both of my daughters have had instances where they heard clicking noises for no reason, too.
