I was about seven or eight years old when I saw my first ghost. One night I asked my older sister, Katie, if she could sleep with me because I don’t like to sleep alone. So at around 12:30 a.m., I woke up and opened my eyes because my legs wouldn’t rest. I then started staring at the end of my bed until I could go to sleep and at that very moment, I saw someone staring at me that I have never seen before! It looked like a girl about nine or ten years old with long black hair, a royal blue dress, what looked to be bloodshot eyes, and a teddy bear in her hands. I almost fainted! So I just kept my eyes half awake and half open. I couldn’t stand staring at the thing so I just closed my eyes. I then felt a tremendous amount of breeze go past me, I opened my eyes, and she was gone. I am now ten years old, and I still feel like she is watching me sleep.
