I was going to work early one morning on a dark, country back road. Coming around a curve, I came upon a slow moving, older model truck. I was aggravated and attempted to pass the vehicle. When I did, he swung into the other lane, blocking me from going around him. My initial reaction was anger, and I wanted to zoom on around him. But something stopped me. I calmed myself down and moved back into my lane. Up ahead, blocked from my view, was a side road. There were two vehicles pulling onto the highway, coming in my direction. If I had lost my temper and passed that truck, I would have hit head-on with those vehicles. There was no shoulder and nowhere to go.

I sure am glad I listened to that little voice and did not let my temper get me killed.
