When I was in third grade, we had a tree in our yard that was an easy climb. We loved playing in it and jumping off of one of the limbs that was horizontal to the ground, about four feet above. One night, we repeatedly climbed up and walked off the limb to land on the ground. On one of my turns, I took a step off the limb, but I didn’t fall! I swear I paused for a second and took another step, then fell. I remember feeling shocked, then puzzled. I just shrugged it off because I didn’t know what to think of it.
