One evening, my little son and I were home alone for the night. I let him sleep with me and closed my door so we would both feel more secure. As I was falling asleep I woke up groggily several times to hearing footsteps around the house. I just ignored it and went back to sleep. When I came out of my room in the morning, I saw that the lights in the bathroom and my little son’s room were on. I specifically remember going around and shutting off all of the lights, locking the doors, before we went to bed.
